What is the Junior Classical League?

The Junior Classical League is an organization for middle and high school students which is sponsored by the American Classical League. It is composed of local and state chapters and is the largest  Classical organization in the world today.

The JCL mission is to encourage an interest in and an appreciation of the language, literature, and culture of ancient Greece and Rome and to impart an understanding of the debt of our own culture to that of Classical antiquity.

The OKJCL is the Oklahoma chapter of the national organization. OKJCL strives to provide students from all over Oklahoma with an opportunity to engage in fellowship over a love of the classics. If you are interested in joining or have questions about membership, please email the OKJCL registrar at okjclregistrar@gmail.com.
